Slow down there...

Life has been a whirlwind the past few days (really weeks, but no need to be picky). All last week was spent rushing to get work done before Wednesday so that I could devote all my time and energy to the Theatre Conference. The events class and I did just that. I was there 7am-12am everyday, working with my fellow students, theatre students, participants and all kinds of teachers/directors/chaperones/etc for roughly a thousand participants. Needless to say, it all seems like a blur. Got past that, and have now applied to some internships (keep your fingers crossed!) and hope to start scheduling interviews. Going through this process also made me realize I have NO CLOTHES (at least not good for interviews) anymore. Working on that at the moment also. This weekend the family and I will be headed up to Washington to welcome in hunting season and relax. Can't wait to spend time with everyone and my special someone!
In my last blog, I said I'd post pictures of my summer trips and since the weather is dreadful right now, it's really making me miss those places!
First off, I spent 5 weeks studying in Spain. It was an amazing experience and one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.

These first pictures were taken at La Alahambra. As much as I love the Biltmore Gardens, this place puts it to shame. The views are breathtaking and the gardens are masterpieces (and no, I'm not a "garden" person, but this place completely blew me away)

This stained glass window was a recreation of one found in a castle. I got lucky and the lighting blacked out the rest of the shot. No editing, just a lot of luck!

This was in Madrid. I love this city so much. Everything about it was wonderful, even for those of us who don't speak Spanish. Wonderful food, museums, sights, bars, and the people are so friendly!
A beautiful view of the coastline

Spectacular sunsets (at 10pm) from our colegio

I could post thousands of pictures and not be satisified. If you ever have the chance to visit, please do. It's something you will not regret!
