Thanks to all my transferring, I got to have two senior
years. Pretty exciting, right? Not really. I’d much rather be graduated and moving
on with my life rather than sitting in classrooms. Don’t get me wrong, I love my teachers and
they everything I’m learning is very important, I’m just ready to be done with school.
People always say you’ll regret thinking that, but I’m not so sure.
I decided that since I’m so behind in blogging about
interesting topics, I’ll do a quick overview of the fall so far and then I can
start blogging in present time rather than the past J
So to start:
Classes started in late August. Nothing overly exciting
there.
Tyre’s birthday (early September) was a wonderful chance to catch up with the
Gill family and head down to River St. for dinner at The Chart House. Jay and I
stayed afterwards and walked around a little and got a frozen drink from Wet
Willies….yummm!
I also got to see Corey Smith in concert with some of my
girlfriends. We had a blast! So much in fact, that there are no pictures L
Next up was Southeastern Charity in mid September. Gravel
Hill Farms took three horses, including the most talented Mac, aka my equine
soul mate. We won the Saddlebred hunter qualifier and championship! Very
excited.
On September 29, was Jay’s 22 birthday. Celebrated with a
small party at home and it was awesome.
On October 5th, Luke Bryan came back to
Claxton. Had an amazing time with great friends! It was so much bigger than the
last time I saw him. Plus, I love the new CD! Always fun to hear a good artist
for a low cost.
The next weekend, the 13-15, was GTC. A theatre
conference that my events class helped manage. It was exhausting and fun at the
same time. Was definitely glad to put it behind us though.
Halloween was a bust for me this year. I got a stomach
bug and was more than a little disappointed that I didn’t get to go out as a tiger.
There we are now all caught up on life! This weekend is
my cousins wedding, next weekend Biloxi, MS for Jays national fishing
tournament, the following weekend I have a horse show in Perry and then it’s
Thanksgiving. Whew. I’m tired just thinking about it!
